Lilyana's Inception
Hello & Welcome to my new blog. This is going to be very interesting, as it is the very first time I have blogged. I hope you will take this journey with me. My intention is to make each story unique, interesting, educational and spiritual in nature.
Who am I? I am an ordinary woman who has experienced many of life's ups and downs, just like you. I have been through my crises, journeyed along many difficult paths, felt the anger, wrath and scorn of other's along the way. Yet I remain firm in my belief that I will find that "inner peace" that we all desire, and are in constant search of.
Leaving home at 15 years of age, was both awe inspiring and nerve wracking. Ending up, blogging, in my late 50's, with wonderful stories to tell is truly amazing.
Why I have decided to blog? I love writing, love to create mental images and love to tell a story. I hope that through my own experiences, I will be able to reach out and touch someone who maybe going through similar experiences. I have been thinking of doing this for many years, but after seeing the movie "Julie & Julia" yesterday, I felt the tremendous push to begin. What has this to do with the movie? Well without giving too much away, Julie starts a blog, tentatively at first, then with gusto, especially when she realizes that she has "fans" who can't wait for her next installment. It's truly a fantastic "feel good" film, well worth watching. If you were ever a Julia Child fan, or if you just love to cook, or desire to cook, this is the movie to see.
Now enough about the movies, my next blog will introduce you to my very first "imaginary" friend. She came to visit me when I was seven years old. Hopefully you will be blown away by my story, and my interpretation of why she came into my life, and how she inspired me to be the person I became.
